    Steve Chong is the lead pastor at Kirkplace, a church plant in Kogarah which God is blessing incredibly. He and his wife Naomi love that they have recently become parents to two sons named Reuben and Jacob. They both studied at Moore college before Steve trained to be a Presbyterian church minister at the Presbyterian Theological Centre.

    Steve has a deep passion to see the city of Sydney won for Christ, and loves speaking to Gen Y about Jesus. He is also the director of the RICE youth movement and is loving what God is doing with it!

    Revive have been based in America for the past 2 years and in 2009 they come home to Sydney for one show only to LIVE OUT LOUD! Citing influences such as Third Day, Switchfoot, Jeff Buckley and Steven Curtis Chapman, Revive has developed a unique sound that unites their aggressive rock appetites with more mainstream pop sensibilities.

    Revive's high-energy pop/rock sound is anchored by Dave Hanbury's compelling vocals. Beyond the music, the fellowship and fun, Revive is about ministry and reminding people of the message in Psalm 85 which says, 'He will revive their hearts.' Check out their website for more.

    Qurious is a Sydney-based band that uses music to create opportunities to bring Jesus to people. Combining rock, rap and riffs, Qurious have forged their own sound and original tunes under the direction of front man, Matthew Mulready. Their debut recording 'The Good Life' was released in April 2009. The rest of the band is Cedric Tang on guitar, Andrew Pearce on drums and Steve Morrison on bass.

    Qurious have also released a Scripture seminar in a box, 'The Good Life'. Designed specifically for high school seminars, can also be used with youth groups and scripture classes. Featuring music video, Bible talk, Vox Pops, Band interviews, personal stories, and more...

What's This All About?

LOUD will encourage Christian youth to have a faith that it is lived out daily and to connect with others by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ

LOUD will challenge non-Christian youth with the life-giving message of the gospel and find their fulfilment in Jesus

May we all LIVE OUT LOUD in our faith as we live in the certain hope of God's grace.

The event will finish at approximately 9.30pm.

LOUD is an event run by Connect09 that seeks to bring the youth of Sydney together to encourage, inspire, and challenge through the message of God's Word. It aims to provide an opportunity for Christian youth to bring their friends as an outreach activity.
